Dr. Aubrey Madsen DC
Dr. Madsen has always been fascinated with the healing process and how the body functions both biologically and biomechanically. Dr. Madsen has long held a passion for understanding how nutrition effects health and brain function. She loves incorporating all aspects of health by helping people heal and improve their quality of life. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science: Fitness/Wellness Emphasis and a Minor in Nutrition from Brigham Young University.
During her undergraduate studies Dr. Madsen worked as a chiropractic assistant where she experienced chiropractic care first hand… and for the first time as she battled her own lower back pain with a bulging disc. After Dr. Madsen experienced muscle activation her back pain of 2 years was gone. As a result of the treatment, she was able to start running again; which she was especially grateful for since running is her stress reliever. Oddly enough, one of the other benefits Dr. Madsen remembers is being able to open the freezer drawer again. Because Muscle Activation seemed to work so quickly, effectively, and well…miraculously, Dr. Madsen knew she had to pursue a chiropractic degree and would not be satisfied with any other line of work. She attended the University of Western States in Portland Oregon and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in December 2012. In her spare time, she likes to refinish furniture, run, do yoga, and bargain shop.
